 An international student is defined as a non-Singaporean citizen or permanent resident. as well as non-residents and non-immigrants planning to study in the United States studying at Embry-Riddle- Asia Campus. This school is authorized under federal law to enroll non-immigrant students. Embry-Riddle Asia’s partner, ERC Institute PEI (Private Education Institute) is approved by Edutrust to enroll international students. UEN No 200311146N. 30/05/14 to19/05/2018.

International applicants must submit the application for admission 90 days prior to their intended term start date. The following items are also required.

Foreign Credential Evaluation

Education systems differ country by country. One a case by case basis, International undergraduate and graduate applicants who have any educational experience outside of Singapore or the United States may be requested to provide an official course-by-course evaluation in English, to include the cumulative grade point average. 

If a student has graduate level course work that is indicated on the foreign credential evaluation as meeting the requirements for an undergraduate degree will not be reviewed for applicability toward an Embry-Riddle graduate degree.

Applicants must apply to one of the following agencies for the foreign credential evaluation. *Applicants from China must use WES.

English Language Requirements

Applicants for whom English is not the primary language must:

  • Attain a minimum score on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) of 550 (paper based) or 79 (internet based).
  • Attain a minimum score on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) of 6.0.
  • Attain a minimum score on the Cambridge English Language Assessment of 170
  • Successfully complete a college level English Composition course with grade C or better that is the equivalent of ENGL 123 (English Composition) at an accredited postsecondary institution.
  • Show evidence of attendance and graduation from a secondary school in which the language of instruction was English.

TOEFL, IELTS or the Cambridge English Language Assessment scores must be sent directly to Embry-Riddle by the testing agency. Please contact for testing dates and locations:

Student Passes (Student Visa)

International Students are eligible to apply to Embry-Riddle Asia.  To be eligible for a student pass, the program must be full-time. Upon admission to a full-time program, the application for the student pass, document checklist and instructions will be given to the student. Student pass applications are initiated with ERC Institute and processed by the ICA (Immigration Checkpoint Authority) of Singapore.
