Embry-Riddle Language Institute (ERLI)

The Embry-Riddle Language Institute (ERLI) is an intensive English program providing English-language instruction and cultural orientation to nonnative speakers of English. If you desire to become more proficient in listening, speaking, reading, and writing the English language for

Students can be granted conditional acceptance pending completion of our program or a passing TOEFL score, assuming they meet all other University admission requirements. Eligible students are also able to earn a part-time recommendation after successful completion of a semester at ERLI, which allows them to begin their University studies while continuing their English-language studies. Embry-Riddle Language Institute students have full access to all Embry-Riddle facilities.

In order to help students fulfill the English proficiency requirement, Embry-Riddle in Prescott works as a cooperating school with another English language agency: Students wishing to fulfill the English requirement outside of Embry-Riddle are encouraged to contact ELS Language Centers. If you meet all other admission criteria beside the TOEFL requirement, Embry-Riddle - Prescott can conditionally admit you while you study English with ELS Language Centers.

Upon completion of Level 112 with ELS Language Centers, you can be fully admitted to begin your studies at Embry-Riddle – Prescott.

Every year ERAU faculty members develop and lead study abroad programs created specifically for our students. ERAU Faculty-led programs range from two to eight weeks in length and occur over winter and summer breaks. We also work with a wide variety of study abroad program providers and overseas universities to offer students academic experience in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, South America, North America, and even Antarctica, for the most adventurous among us. There are also a number of study abroad scholarships available for qualified students and for specific programs.
