Emergency Planning and Management

The minor in Emergency Planning and Management is designed to address the growing incidence of emergencies in the global arena.  The focus will be on how to prepare civil societies for possible pandemics, civil unrest, incoming migrants, terrorist strikes, military aggression, industrial accidents such as oil spills, EMP events, and natural phenomena, such as volcanic events, earthquakes, tsunamis, fire, drought, cyclonic storms, the impacts of climate warning and even asteroid events. Student may earn this minor by completing the following five courses:
