The mission of the School of Engineering is to deliver state-of-the-art engineering science skills to Embry Riddle’s online engineering programs ranging from engineering certificates, associate degrees, and ABET-accredited bachelor degrees, to master-level engineering science programs. The School of Engineering (SoE) is located in the College of Aviation where the synergy between engineering and other fields of aeronautics is alive and well. The focus area at the undergraduate level lies in general engineering with a mechanical, electrical, aerospace, and robotics flavor. A newly established bachelor of science in software engineering program will be offered too. On the master's level, the focus is on systems and aerospace engineering.
The School of Engineering faculty possess real-world engineering experience in academic research, the private sector, government, or international organizations. Our valued adjunct faculty are current in their scientific or engineering fields and share their knowledge on a part-time basis.
