Message from the President

Welcome to the 2026-‘27 academic year. 

As an Embry-Riddle Eagle, you join a talented community of more than 31,000 students and 170,000 graduates. Since its founding in 1926, Embry-Riddle has educated the brightest minds in aviation and aerospace and has built a strong legacy of innovation.

Today, we provide students with opportunities to pursue academic excellence and research across disciplines. Through collaborations with our government, industry and academic partners, we are driving advancements that benefit the global aviation and aerospace enterprise. And with Centers of Excellence devoted to aviation and aerospace safety, cyber resilience and space and atmospheric research, Embry-Riddle is responding to emergent industry needs and pushing the boundaries of what is possible. 

You are a part of this important work. Nearly 90% of our students collaborate with faculty mentors or industry partners through capstone projects, research opportunities and internships. Embry-Riddle students have even put space hardware on the moon. In 2024, a camera system called EagleCam became the first student-built payload on the lunar surface.

Through research and coursework that encourage creativity, problem-solving and entrepreneurship, you will learn to turn your most inspired ideas into solutions. Your Embry-Riddle education is also the first step toward your personal and professional goals.  

Embry-Riddle has boundless opportunities, with more than 100 degree programs. Each will ground you in the fundamentals and prepare you for real-world engagement. As aviation and aerospace evolve toward new frontiers, we continue to add new programs, many of which are the first of their kind. In this catalog, you will find courses in aerospace physiology, commercial space operations, engineering physics, uncrewed aircraft systems, cybersecurity, data analytics, hybrid and electric vehicles, advanced aircraft mobility, aviation business and more. I encourage you to familiarize yourself with its pages. 

Whatever your field of study, you will benefit from hands-on education that challenges you to apply the knowledge and skills you are building in the classroom, lab and perhaps on the flight line. Our graduates are the preferred, top-earning candidates in today’s job market, in part because of this project-based approach.
