Application Deadlines
Daytona Beach & Prescott Campus
New undergraduate students are eligible for admission at the beginning of fall, spring, and summer terms. High school students may apply at the end of their junior year. Applications received after the priority filing dates will be processed on a space-available basis. Applications may be deferred beyond the initial intended start date.

Worldwide & Online Campus
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Students are encouraged to apply at least 30 days prior to their intended start term. International applicants are encouraged to apply 90 days prior to their intended start term.
Applications for admission are valid for one year from date received. Admitted students must enroll and maintain enrollment beyond the add/drop period within one year of admission or must reapply.
Asia Campus
Applications are valid for one year from date received. Applications for students from Singapore who need to fulfill their National Service will be valid for two years from the date received.
Official Transcripts
Requesting Official Transcripts
For the purpose of admission, transcripts are deemed official when issued directly from the issuing institution to Embry-Riddle. Once admitted, academic evaluators review all prior credit and issue an official advising report reflecting any transfer and/or advanced standing credit awarded.
Official transcripts must be sent directly to Embry-Riddle at the respective campus addresses below. Embry-Riddle also accepts electronic transcripts from approved online transcript ordering services.

Foreign Transcripts
All applicants who have educational experience outside the United States are required to provide an official course-by-course evaluation in English, to include the cumulative grade-point average and U.S. degree equivalency, unless specifically exempted through a qualifying ERAU program. Refer to the International Applicants section of the catalog for details on foreign credential evaluations.
Applicants Using Veteran’s Administration Benefits
Applicants using Veteran’s Administration benefits will be required to submit transcripts from all prior institutions attended (to include non-accredited and non-degree granting institutions) and all National Exam scores prior to admission.
Tuition Deposit
Daytona Beach & Prescott Campus Only
Important information regarding University policies and procedures will be sent to students upon acceptance. All students accepted for admission must submit a non-refundable $200 tuition deposit by the stated date to accept the offer of admission. This deposit confirms your intent to attend the University and is credited toward the first semester’s tuition. The University offers rolling admissions and, as a result, programs can fill up before the deposit date.
Deposit dates are as follows:
- Fall Term: May 1
- Spring Term: November 1
- Summer Term A: April 1
- Summer Term B: May 1
The deposit will be held in the student's account for one year. If the student does not enroll after one year, the deposit is forfeited. A student who cancels the application at any point in the admissions process may reactivate the application without a fee for one year following the date of cancellation. After one year, a new application, application fee, and supporting documents must be submitted.
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s admission decision is valid for one term only. Further, when a scholarship is awarded, it is only valid beginning the specific term indicated in the award and/or admissions notification letter. Because admission and scholarship criteria may change from one term to another, admission decisions and scholarship awards are not automatically deferred.
Immunizations
Daytona Beach & Prescott Campus
Students must complete health requirements to be enrolled in classes at ERAU. Failure to comply will result in a medical hold being placed on the student account. Incoming students must complete and submit the Medical Report Form found on the Health Services web page of the campus to which they’ve been admitted. The form includes information on required immunizations. There are additional requirements for some students including flight students, students living on campus and ROTC students. Additionally, health insurance is required of all students and students are automatically enrolled in the University’s student health insurance plan unless proof of comparable insurance is provided.
Worldwide Campus
International students studying in the United States on an F1 Visa are required to complete and submit the Immunization Record form demonstrating proof of required immunizations. Students must complete the required health requirements prior to attending classes at ERAU. Additionally, some states have specific immunization requirements for students attending in-person courses at one of our Worldwide locations. Please contact your academic advisor for specific information.
Flight Training Requirements
Daytona Beach & Prescott Campus Only
To participate in flight training at Embry-Riddle, students must present a current First or Second Class Medical Certificate. In addition, the Aviation and Transportation Security Act (ATSA) requires all flight students to show acceptable documentation of U.S. citizenship OR complete background check requirements. Upon acceptance to the University, all students will be sent specific, detailed information on these and additional requirements for flight students.
Transfer Portal
Undergraduate students may utilize the transfer portal to obtain a free, unofficial estimate of credit of prior education and/or training to determine the amount of credit they are likely to be awarded.
Graduate students may work directly with the Office of Admissions to request an unofficial estimate of prior credit. An official evaluation will be available to applicants following admission to the university and will be based on dates of attendance, grades earned, and catalog requirements in effect at the time of application submission.
Readmission of Service Members: Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008
In accordance with the HEO Act of 2008, service members will be readmitted to the institution, without penalty for having left because of military service, to minimize disruption to the lives of those serving in the uniformed services.
In reference to the Department of Education: Statute and regulations require institutions of higher education that participate in Federal student financial aid programs to promptly readmit with the same academic status a qualifying service member who did not continue to attend because of service in the uniformed services. The readmission requirements apply to service members who perform service in the uniformed services, whether voluntary or involuntary, in the Armed Forces, including service as a member of the National Guard or Reserve, on active duty, active duty for training, or full-time National Guard duty under Federal authority (but not State authority).
