Graduate Certificate in Leadership

At the Worldwide Campus, the Leadership Certificate is a 12-credit online program that explores leadership techniques applicable across a variety of settings. The program addresses leadership of diverse groups through understanding social and cultural norms in a global context. Students study operational leadership, communication and the adaptation of leadership styles in complex environments. Coursework includes analysis of case studies to examine strategies and their application in different organizational situations.

Note: Certificate programs are not eligible for Title IV Federal Financial Aid unless taken as part of a degree program.

Program-Level Student Learning Outcomes

Students will:

• Apply the proper leadership theories to real-world cases in a broad range of contexts to improve organizational outcomes.
• Evaluate different leadership perspectives within broad and diverse populations to address future organizational needs based on changing social, cultural, and organizational norms to include globalization.
