Minor in Advanced Air Mobility
This program will prepare students to become leaders in the emerging Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) sector. This program offers a comprehensive examination of the ecosystems that support AAM including the integration of eVTOL vehicles into the National Airspace System (NAS), regulatory challenges, and infrastructure requirements. Courses in this program of study will prepare students to become leaders in emerging aviation technologies and be prepared to contribute to the evolution of future air transportation systems and infrastructure development. This minor program of study would be open to all majors by utilizing open, lower-level, and upper-level elective credits.
This program supports the continuing evolution of the Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen) and adoption of emerging entrants into the NAS, new transportation technologies, procedures, infrastructure, and regulation.
