Foreign Credential Evaluations

Educational systems differ country by country. All undergraduate and graduate applicants who have educational experience outside the United States are required to provide an official course-by-course evaluation in English, that includes the cumulative grade-point average and U.S. degree equivalency, unless specifically exempted through a qualifying ERAU program. High school applicants may be required to have a document-by-document evaluation. Applicants with university credit will be required to have a course-by-course evaluation. The same transfer credit policies apply to students who have educational experience outside of the United States. Refer to our transfer credit policies for further information.

A copy of the foreign transcript must accompany the official credit evaluation. The evaluation must be certified by one of the Foreign Credential Evaluation Services (FCE) approved by Embry-Riddle. A fee is charged for the translation service and must be paid by the applicant directly to the FCE. The report is considered official only if mailed or electronically transmitted directly from the issuing agency to Embry-Riddle.

Admissions also reserves the right to accept foreign credential evaluations from current members of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES), or Association of International Credential Evaluators (AICE).
