Embry-Riddle Language Institute
The Embry-Riddle Language Institute (ERLI) provides intensive English-language instruction designed to prepare non-native speakers of English for academic study at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) at the Daytona Beach and Prescott campuses. The program focuses on developing proficiency in reading, writing, grammar, listening, and speaking within an academic context and supports students in building the language skills necessary for success in university coursework and beyond.
Students who meet all other admission requirements may be offered provisional admission to ERAU pending successful completion of the program or demonstration of required English proficiency through approved testing. Program completion requirements and placement information are maintained on the ERLI website.
The ERLI Pathway Program allows eligible students the ability to begin academic coursework while completing language preparation. Availability, eligibility criteria, and participation requirements may vary by campus. Review the ERLI website to learn more.
ERLI also offers a one-semester option for students interested in improving their English skills for personal or professional reasons.
Participants in ERLI are enrolled as University students and may access campus facilities and services consistent with their enrollment status.
