Minor in Astronautics
The Minor in Astronautics provides students with a foundational introduction to aerospace engineering, with an emphasis on astronautics and space-related systems. The program covers fundamental concepts such as orbital mechanics, spacecraft dynamics, space propulsion, and the design and operation of space systems. Students develop analytical and problem-solving skills applicable to the challenges of space exploration and satellite technologies, with opportunities to explore advanced topics in areas such as attitude control, mission design, and space environments. This minor is designed to complement a range of majors and prepares students for careers or further study in the rapidly evolving space sector and related high-technology fields.
Some majors may not be eligible to pair with this minor. See the Minor Restrictions list for details.
