B.S. in Space Operations to M.S. in Space Operations
This program allows exceptional students to complete the Bachelor of Science in Space Operations (BSSO) and Master of Science in Space Operations (MSSO) degrees at the Daytona Beach campus.
The Bachelor of Science degree will be conferred upon completing the undergraduate requirements, and students will be enrolled in the graduate degree. In any graduate course taken by an undergraduate student, a grade of “B” or better must be earned. These credits will count toward the B.S. and M.S. degree requirements, provided the student maintains enrollment in the combined program and receives a "B" or better in the courses. If a grade of "C" or "F" is earned in any of the courses taken in place of the undergraduate elective courses, the student will be removed from the program and may continue to complete the BSSO degree only.
If the student chooses to leave the program before the completion of the graduate program and has acquired the minimal hours required for graduation with the B.S. in Space Operations, any graduate transition courses used to meet graduation requirements will be noted as undergraduate courses for the purpose of graduation.
Approved Courses for the Combined Program
Students enrolled in the combined option must consult their academic advisor and the MSSO program coordinator to determine appropriate course selections. Up to three 500-level graduate MSSO courses may be taken to replace an equal number of Open Elective courses in the BSSO degree.
