B.S. in Aviation Psychology (PC) to M.S. in Occupational Safety Management (WW)

Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Aviation Psychology (BSAVP) degree program at the Prescott College of Arts & Sciences have the opportunity to pursue the Worldwide Master of Science in Occupational Safety Management (MSOSM) in a combined degree program format.

Upon completing the undergraduate requirements, the Bachelor of Science degree will be conferred, and students will be enrolled in the graduate degree. In any graduate course taken by an undergraduate student, a grade of “B” or better must be earned. These credits will count toward the undergraduate and graduate degree requirements, provided the student maintains enrollment in the combined program and receives a "B" or better in the courses. Students will be dropped from the program if their GPA falls below 3.0. The BSAVP degree will be conferred upon completion of all bachelor's degree requirements; the MSOSM degree will be conferred upon completion of all master's degree requirements.

If the student chooses to leave the program before the completion of the MSOSM program and has acquired the minimal hours required for graduation with the B.S. in Aviation Psychology, any MSOSM transition courses used to meet graduation requirements will be noted as undergraduate courses for the purpose of graduation.

Approved Courses for the Combined Program

Students enrolled in the combined option must consult their academic advisor to determine appropriate course selection. Students will take up to three SFTY 500-level courses.
